A business that sells beverage containers (soda, water, beer, some juice mixtures, etc.) requiring the collection of a crv charge is identified as a "dealer" under the California Bottle Bill. If you sell these products and are located in an "unserved" convenience zone you must take the necessary steps to get into compliance as mandated by the law.

Under the California law, a grocery store establishes a convenience zone. Once the convenience zone is identified all "dealers" in the zone (1/2 mile radius around the grocery store) have the same obligations to comply with the provisions of the law.
